Many thanks to Hotel Ibis London Euston-St Pancras for hosting me! Travelling to London by Eurostar from continental Europe has never been more accessible than now, and that convenience was multiplied several folds when I stayed at this particular Ibis, located close to the Eurostar stop and right in the centre of the city.
Ibis has seriously upped its game with this refurbished three-star avant-garde designer hotel. Like all London hotels, rooms are tiny. But by ensuring the common areas are modern, spacious, airy and attractive, your stay at this Ibis will radically change your perception of budget hotels (‘budget’ being by London standards).
I really enjoyed the breakfast area, where they actually managed to provide a full English breakfast buffet to more than a hundred guests without making them feel confined or having to rush through their meal. The bar area is filled with nice minimalist furniture, ideally for cocooning with a glass of red wine and a tΓͺte-Γ -tΓͺte, after a long day of sight-seeing and shopping.
