London is practically my second home, but I had never been to Camden Town until now. It is a tourist spot, attracting up to 100,000 people every weekend. But I was so wrong in avoiding it all these years! Camden Town has its very own charms, and still retains very much of how London outskirts used to be.
The thing I liked most about Camden Town was the food markets. I tried freshly brewed Ethiopian coffee for the first time, and there were a lot of other things that I will definitely come back to try! You can reach Camden Town via the Tube, but make sure you go there early just when the stores are opening up at 10 o’clock in order to enjoy the peace and listen to the banter of shop owners. Otherwise when the tour busses start pulling in at 11 o’clock, it tends to get really hectic. See you in Camden Town!
