Keizersberg is one of my favourite places in the world. It is a small hill in Leuven, on which there is a small park and a Benedictine monastery. When it is good weather, regardless of the season, it is always a good place to breathe in some fresh air and take in the view. In front of the abbey is a giant statue of Virgin Mary and baby Jesus. Once you sneak through the fencing, be prepared to take in the breathtaking panorama of the city of Leuven before your eyes. The site has an incredible history too: it was a outpost for the Knights Templars in the 12th century!
